we will be taking up about twenty minutes of your time. [[slnc 1050]]

You will be asked to perform a series of actions. [[slnc 750]]
Don't worry, you won't be asked to do anything difficult, or dangerous. [[slnc 650]]
But you will need to listen carefully to the instructions. [[slnc 4000]]

For the first part of the event, four of you will be going to the bar, and four of you will be going into the garden. [[slnc 1000]]
then you will all come back here, in the auditorium, for the second part. [[slnc 3000]]


You are in the group that is going to go to the bar, in a moment. [[slnc 250]]
When you get there, please choose somewhere to stand,[[slnc 250]] and wait for your next instructions.[[slnc 2000]]

We will now do some simple actions.[[slnc 1000]]
Please can you form a circle,[[slnc 150]] in the middle of the room,[[slnc 150]] holding hands.[[slnc 3250]]
You may have to politely, ask some people to make room for you. [[slnc 10000]][[slnc 10000]]

You can let your arms drop to your side now. [[slnc 200]]
and we'll start. [[slnc 1000]]

Raise both arms up to the ceiling, [[slnc 2000]] and stretch up,[[slnc 250]] until you are standing on tip toe.

Take a deep breath in through your nose. [[slnc 150]] filling your lungs.

Ok, we're going to do the breathing exer sise again. [[slnc 2000]]

the main part of this event is now going to happen.[[slnc 1000]]
Please remain sitting in your seats, while I give you some instructions. [[slnc 250]]
After you have heard the instructions, I will tell you when to start. [[slnc 1600]]

Ok.[[slnc 250]] In a moment ,We're going to ask you to go up onto the stage. [[slnc 250]]
There are four numbered markers, in a line, on the floor.[[slnc 350]]
Please choose a marker to stand on.[[slnc 150]]
Stand with your back to the audience, facing the screen.[[slnc 1050]]

make a note of the number on your marker. [[slnc 250]]
Its important to remember this, as it will be your number from now on.[[slnc 250]]
Once you have memorized the number, fold it up and put it in your pocket. [[slnc 650]]

Ok, great.[[slnc 100]] you can now stand up, and go up the stairs onto the stage.[[slnc 10000]]

We're now going to take you through a set of simple actions.[[slnc 250]]
They are very simple.[[slnc 250]] And this see quence will last for about three minutes.[[slnc 1000]]

Group 1 auditorium 2

slowly bend your neck forwards.[[slnc 250]] until your chin is resting on your chest,[[slnc 5000]]
Now, straighten your neck, raising your head back up again. [[slnc 4000]]

Ok. [[slnc 250]] We'll do it again.[[slnc 250]]
slowly bend your neck forwards.[[slnc 250]] until your chin is resting on your chest,[[slnc 16000]]
Straighten your neck, raising your head back up again. [[slnc 4000]]

Now, turn your head, until you're looking over your left shoulder.[[slnc 7000]]
And bring your head back to the centre, until you're looking at the screen.[[slnc 1000]]

now put both your hands on your hips.[[slnc 7000]]
drop your right arm down to your side.[[slnc 3000]]
and drop your left arm down to your side. [[slnc 4000]]

raise your right hand to your left shoulder.[[slnc 5000]]

Ok, drop your right arm down to your side.[[slnc 2000]]

and very, very, gently, rub your ear-lobe back and forth between thumb and forefinger.[[slnc 15000]]

And bending, touch your left knee with your left hand. [[slnc 7000]]

Now, turn your head, until you're looking over your right shoulder.[[slnc 8000]]

We're going to do some very simple movements,[[slnc 250]] while sitting down.[[slnc 3000]]

Lets start.[[slnc 1000]]

slowly bend your neck forwards.[[slnc 250]] until your chin is resting on your chest,[[slnc 5000]]
Now, straighten your neck, raising your head back up again. [[slnc 4000]]

Ok. [[slnc 250]] We'll do it again.[[slnc 250]]
slowly bend your neck forwards.[[slnc 250]] until your chin is resting on your chest,[[slnc 16000]]

Participant three. Please walk to the other back corner of the stage. and position yourself opposite participant four. [[slnc 8000]]
You should now all be standing, lined up with each other, in a rectangle. [[slnc 1000]]

We're now going to do some actions, that synchronise with the participants sitting in the auditorium. [[slnc 1000]]
Everyone please turn, so you are facing the audience. [[slnc 3000]]

Hi. [[slnc 250]] We're going to do some more actions, in sync with the participants on stage.[[slnc 1000]]
You will be doing the actions standing, in the same place as you have been sitting.[[slnc 1000]]

Please raise your right hand up to the ceiling. [[slnc 1000]]
And slowly turn clock wise, on the spot, through 360 degrees. [[slnc 10000]][[slnc 5000]]
you can drop your arm down again. [[slnc 250]]
Great. [[slnc 6000]]

Now, we're going to do the breathing exercise. [[slnc 1000]]

Please walk towards the objects on the box, standing in the middle of the screen.[[slnc 5000]]
You will see a candle, and a box of matches. two rum bottles, and some plastic glasses .[[slnc 250]]
Please light the candle. [[slnc 2000]]

Ok, participants one, and four. [[slnc 450]]
please walk towards each other, until you are standing facing each other, on either side of the top of the stairs.[[slnc 4000]]

Participant two, please pick up the large bottle.[[slnc 1000]]
Participant three, please pick up the plastic glasses.[[slnc 1000]]
Please go and stand next to participant four. [[slnc 2000]]

Ok, participants one, and four. [[slnc 450]] Raise both your arms up, so your fingers are touching, forming an arch for people to walk under, when they come up the stairs.[[slnc 250]]

Participants two, and three. [[slnc 250]]You are going to pour out a shot of rum, for every person who comes up onto the stage.[[slnc 1000]]
If the bottle of rum runs out, open the other bottle. [[slnc 2000]] Here we go, [[slnc 1000]]

Group 2 up onto stage

Ok.[[slnc 1000]]
In a moment we would like you to make your way up onto the stage.[[slnc 450]]
But Please stay sitting where you are, while I give you some instructions. [[slnc 1550]]

As you go up onto the stage, you will be given a shot of rum.[[slnc 450]]
take the shot with you and stand in a small circle around the projector, in the middle of the stage.[[slnc 650]]
stand as close as you can, to the projector, without getting your body in the way of the light beam.[[slnc 450]]
You can then drink your rum, and relax, while waiting for your next instructions. [[slnc 1250]]

Right, time to start. [[slnc 250]] Please make your way up onto the stage now.[[slnc 1000]]

Don't worry, you won't be asked to do anything difficult, [[slnc 1000]]

Audience onto stage

Hello Everyone, [[slnc 2000]]
It is time for the audience to come up the stairs, onto the stage. [[slnc 1000]]
You will need to drink a shot of rum,[[slnc 250]]
and then find somewhere comfortable to sit, or lie down.[[slnc 1000]]

Please can the first people up, sit or lie down towards the back of the stage, to make as much room
for the next people coming up.

Ok Everyone, make yourselves comfortable.[[slnc 6250]]
now, Please can you shut your eyes. [[slnc 3000]]
Take a deep breath in through your mouth. [[slnc 4000]]
and breathe out through your nose.[[slnc 6000]]
Now, keeping your eyes shut, listen to the sounds around you. [[slnc 10000]][[slnc 10000]][[slnc 10000]][[slnc 10000]]
you can open your eyes now.[[slnc 1000]]

Group 2 hand shadows

hi. [[slnc 250]]Please stay standing up, while everyone else is sitting and lying down. [[slnc 1000]]
and stay in a small circle, around the projector, [[slnc 850]]

Ok, everyone. [[slnc 250]]
stand as close as you can, to the projector. [[slnc 250]] but don't let your body get in the way of the light beam.[[slnc 5450]]

We are now going to make some shadows on the ceiling. [[slnc 1250]]
We will start with the tallest member of the group. [[slnc 3050]]

Please raise your right hand high up to the ceiling, so that it cuts into the middle of the light beam, [[slnc 1850]]so that up on the middle of the roof, you can see a small shadow of your hand.[[slnc 8250]]

Now bring your hand down towards the lens of the projector, so that the shadow of the hand gets bigger and bigger. [[slnc 1250]]
until you bring your hand past the lens, and the shadow disappears. [[slnc 10000]]

Ok. [[slnc 250]]
Now, moving clockwise from the tallest person, each of the four of you, will do the same hand movement.[[slnc 200]]
making a hand shadow on the roof that starts small and becomes large. [[slnc 10000]]

Please keep going round and round the circle, making shadows, until we ask you to stop.[[slnc 400]]
So that there is a constant movement of shadows on the ceiling. [[slnc 1000]]

You can speed up, and slow down the rhythm and speed of your hand movements, as you feel appropriate.[[slnc 1000]]

ok, keep the movement of the hand shadows going. [[slnc 250]]
In a moment when I say so, we are going to reverse the direction of the hand movements. [[slnc 250]]
So your hand starts over the lens, and raises up, towards the ceiling.[[slnc 250]]
Ok,[[slnc 250]] reverse the direction of your hand movements now. [[slnc 1000]]
